The integration compact: A strategy for maximising the benefits of immigration

Phoebe Griffith has produced a report for the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) detailing why a UK integration strategy is needed to maximise the economic benefits from immigration.

In 2010 the UK government put measures in place to reduce immigration, but has done little to ensure the integration of migrants. Individuals and local authorities are struggling to provide migrants and communities with the support they need – but integration is important if the economy and local communities are to optimize economic benefits and achieve public consent.
