The costs of inequality: whole-population modelling study of lifetime inpatient hospital costs in the English National Health Service by level of neighbourhood deprivation

M. Asaria, T. Doran and R. Cookson have undertaken a study which focuses on socioeconomic differences in life expectancy and healthcare costs across the life course.    Expected annual costs and cumulative lifetime costs were also estimated for each deprivation quintile.  To read a summary of the study and  link to the full study please log in to the Members Area.
