The IBM Hursley site is a giant R&D laboratory set in the grounds of a very fine stately home.
The visit will open with Andreas Haimboch-Tichy, IBM’s VP for Healthcare, and Mark Davey, IBM’s Chief Medical Officer, giving a short presentation about IBM, the Hursley site and what IBM is trying to achieve there.
People from IBM will then escort delegates through the site, focusing on emerging technology in the health sector, the internet of things and the museum located in the house.
After the tour, delegates will take part in an IBM design thinking workshop, focusing on how to provoke adoption of best practice.
Finally, there will be a further presentation of the latest technology in healthcare exploring the art of the possible and future vision. A key theme of this will be population health management.
Lunch will be provided.
