Following our fantastic January IW IHM Group event, where we met the wonderful team who support their community in the West Wight, we’re delighted that the awesome Aspire Ryde team will be hosting our Group meet-up on Wednesday 4th March 2020.
The event is free and open to anyone with a role in supporting the health, social care and wellbeing of Island communities. Please do book a ticket so that the team know how many seats to put out and how many people to cater for.
The Aspire team will tell us their story and give a tour of their converted church building. Other organisations and teams will also be on hand to explain how they provide support to the local Ryde/North-East Island community.
During the afternoon there will be plenty of opportunities to talk, share and learn with/from colleagues who are passionate about supporting our communities.
Roy Lilley, health-writer and commentator, co-founder of the Academy of Fabulous Stuff and a director of the IHM, will be joining us for the afternoon.
Roy will be donating one of his fabulous paintings, which will be raffled off during the afternoon, with the proceeds going to Aspire Ryde, so please do bring along some cash!
We very much look forward to seeing you on the 4th March 2020.
