Closing the gender pay gap

Many organisations are actively recruiting more women into senior positions and are scrapping all-male shortlists.  But adding just one  woman to a shortlist may not work as the ratio is implying that a male is more appropriate for the role than a female.

The What Works evidence guidance from the Behavioural Insights Team, provides advice to employers on ways in which they can actively support gender equality in the  workplace and thereby reduce their gender pay gap.
