The Academy of Fabulous Stuff Community Interest Company is delighted and honoured to have secured agreement with the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) to acquire the Institute of Healthcare Management (IHM) with effect from 1 st October 2016.
The RSPH has done a magnificent job in challenging circumstances to stabilise and nurture the IHM since it acquired it in 2012 and now feels that the time is right to open new opportunities for the IHM via the Academy of Fabulous Stuff.
The Academy of Fabulous Stuff has rapidly become the leading resource for front line health and social care best practice adoption and the integration with the IHM will offer multiple benefits for IHM members.
Commenting on the deal Shirley Cramer, CEO of RSPH, said “we are very proud of our work in looking after and preserving the IHM and believe there is enormous opportunity for IHM to thrive and grow with the Academy of Fabulous Stuff. We know that it is going to be in very good hands.”
Roy Lilley, Companion of the IHM for many years and a Director of Academy of Fabulous Stuff, said “we are thrilled and feel very privileged to be the new owners of the Institute of Healthcare Management. The RSPH has been a magnificent custodian of the Institute and we are very grateful for the work they have done. There has never been a more important time for managers within Health and Social Care to have a representative Institute working with them and we will be announcing a range of new and attractive developments for members very shortly.”
