Seema Buckley
Seema is a programme consultant, specialising in healthcare transformation with expertise in population health improvement and medicines optimisation. She is an accomplished healthcare executive with 20 years’ experience in healthcare management, working in both NHS and private sectors, in primary, secondary and tertiary care healthcare. She is also experienced in design and delivery of health care programs, strategy and healthcare services.
Professor Paul BatchelorÂ
Paul currently holds an honorary Chair in the Faculty of Medicine at UCLan, an honorary post at UCL and is the dental lead for the National Association for Primary Care. He is also Chief Assessor for Fellowship of the FGDP(UK), an examiner for the Overseas Registration Examination of the General Dental Council. Paul also sits on a number of editorial boards.
Becky Harrington
Throughout her career in the NHS Becky has had a keen interest in the development of people, teams, organisations and culture. She combines her work in leading change and service improvements with associate roles at the NHS Leadership Academy and The Leadership Trust Foundation, where she provides management and leadership development.
Jonathan Freeman MBE
Jonathan is CEO of the CareTech Charitable Foundation, the leading corporate foundation in the social care sector. He serves as Vice-Chair of Championing Social Care, a volunteer-led initiative which brings together a broad cross-section of the care sector’s leaders focussed on delivering positive stories and initiatives for and about the sector
Loretta Outhwaite
Loretta is a Chartered Management Accountant with a diploma in managing performance and change, and a qualified Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner. Loretta is also an NHS Finance Director, with over 30 years of extensive experience in healthcare and other public sectors, and a mentor for the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and Public Finance By Women (PFW); a member of the British Standards Institute’s (BSI) Healthcare Organisation Management Committee, PWF’s International Advisory Committee and an NHS volunteer.
Dr Nicholas Hicks
Nick is Director of OptiMedis-COBIC UK. His career has included time as a practising GP, a hospital doctor, a PCT chief executive, a Director of Public Health, a public health consultant, a policy advisor to Government and a health services researcher. Nick has had several attachments in the Department of Health including in its strategy unit where he worked closely with the Secretary of State and other Ministers.
John Kennedy
John is an independent consultant working with a variety of housing and social care organisations. He is also Director of The Residential Forum; Honorary Lecturer at City University; Advisory Board member of ‘My Home Life’, and Author of ‘John Kennedy’s Care Home Inquiry’.
Dr Daghni Rajasingham
Daghni is a consultant obstetrician at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Foundation Trust (GSTT). She is Head of Service for Obstetrics and Deputy Director for Postgraduate Medical Education. Daghni has a Masters in leadership and management and is a certified and experienced mediator.
Palvi Dodhia
Palvi is the COO and Co-Founder of Serene Care, a boutique care home operator specialising in dementia care. Alongside Jay Dodhia, CEO, she has helped build Serene Care into an award-winning care home provider. Palvi’s background includes working at investment banks before finding her passion in care. She is also an Ambassador for Championing Social Care and an Ambassador of Dementia UK.

Phil Harper
Phil (They/Them) is currently a Senior Lecturer in Health and Social
Care at Birmingham Newman University. Phil specialises in LGBTQ+ inclusion in
education and social care. They have co-led a co-produced study exploring the
lived experience of non-binary individuals with dementia and have previously been
involved in research projects looking at Transgender individuals’ experiences
of healthcare and personal care for diverse people living with dementia. Phil
is also an advisor/ LGBTQ+ consultant for the Association for Dementia Studies
(University of Worcester) and an external member of the Northampton Dementia
Research Centre. Phil is also part of Alzheimer’s Europe’s working group on
Sexuality and Gender, where they helped to develop resources around LGBTQ+ inclusion
in policy and practice across Europe. Phil is also a member and lead for
research and conferences for the LGBTQ+ Dementia Advisory group, a director for Bromyard Pride CIC, and a working drag artist and activist who
performs numbers to raise awareness of dementia within the LGBTQ+ community.
Julie Keith
Julie Keith is the Performance Manager at the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust. Her role involves overseeing mental health and wellbeing resources, as well as wellbeing hubs. The trust provides services related to mental health in the Birmingham and Solihull area. Julie is also the chair of the West Midlands Regional Global Majority Improvement Group, advocating for inclusivity, women’s mental health, wellbeing, and anti-racism.
